In the process of extraction of virgin coconut oil from coconut kernel, only 20% of the disintegrated kernel is subjected to milk extraction for making virgin coconut oil and the balance of 80% of the disintegrated kernel will be dried in the drying system for production of Partially defatted Desiccated Coconut. Hence it starts exhibiting its benefits during production. The by-products during several stages of its production are also useful in different scenarios.
